The Institute for Materials & Manufacturing hosts its annual foundry open week on the Hillfort campus. Visitors can watch two live casting demonstrations each day, tour the composites clean room, and hear short talks on recycled alloys from the research team.
The event is free, and school groups are welcome on the Tuesday and Wednesday sessions. Booking is required for tours.
